What Vocab Loop stores on your device

Vocab Loop stores your vocabulary, meanings, examples, tags, collections, settings, repeat progress, session preferences, transcription display preference, reminder settings, and voice choices on your device so the app can work as a local study tool.

Your vocabulary data is not stored in a Vocab Loop account or cloud sync system.

Accounts, ads, and selling data

Vocab Loop does not use user accounts.

Vocab Loop does not show ads.

We do not sell your data.

Local vocabulary data

Your saved words, translations, meanings, examples, transcriptions, tags, and collections are local app data.

Vocab Loop does not upload your full dictionary to a Vocab Loop account or cloud sync system.

Internal app statistics

Vocab Loop may collect limited internal app statistics to understand whether the app is working correctly and which basic features are used.

These statistics may include events such as:

• first app open;
• onboarding started or completed;
• selected app/learning/translation languages;
• collection created;
• word added;
• backup import started, completed, or failed;
